What makes a photo interesting?

Simplicity:

Simplicity is making a photo simple. Do not make it look like there is too much happening. For example; if the background is busy it will subtract the main visual image.

Composition:

This is when you add object of your own choice to your photograph. For example; if you were taking a photograph of a model in the woods, and it looks a bit boring, you add an object of your choice.

Position of lighting:

This is when you have background lighting added to your image at an angel. For example; if you are taking a photograph of one person and there is no shadow, you can put a light behind/in front/on the side of the image. This will hopefully provide you with a shadow.

Camera angle:

This is when you take photographs at different angels. For example; taking a photograph of a model with the camera above them to make them look smaller. Or from beneath them to make them look bigger.
